new excel template

good day excelers, for some strange reason when i open a new excel template
it is completly grayed out.has anyone run into this, and if so is there a
fix? thanks in advance wynb
 
hi anne, i just tried that and all options in all the drop down list are
greyed out! any other suggestions? thx wyn
