When recieving emails using outlook 2003 they just seem to disapear, not in
inbox or anywhere else. Can receive with outlook express.

I suspect you have an additional .pst file around that is the mail delivery
location. Do a search for .pst files and find the other file. Then open
that file in Outlook (File, Open). If this is the case, you need to go into
the Data File Management area, and change the mail delivery location to the
..pst file you actually want it delivered to. This is also on the File menu.

Did not work, only one .pst file on computer. Any other ideas, I have only
just upgraded to office 2003 from 2000, all my old mail and settings have
transferred over no poroblem.

I'd try creating a new profile. When you did your search, were you showing
hidden files and folders? (Control Panel, Folder Options)

If you use Advanced Find and specify messages received today, do you find
any of your incoming mail? If yes, then I would check the view settings on
your in-box to ensure it is set to all messages, and not some other view.
Also, ensure that you are not sorting by Icon in the in-box.
