Hello all,

Some of the people in my office are experiencing this
problem. New mail does not show up in their inbox until
they click into a different folder, which seems to wake up
Outlook into checking for messages. It seems that Outlook
just isn't checking for messages until there is user
intervention.

The symptoms sound exactly like those discussed in 815052,
however the pc's with this problem are not using Microsoft
Firewall Client program, which is one of the causes of the
issue in the article. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks.

I am experiencing the same problems. I have not been able
to find an answer either but many possiblities. Disable
messenger. set check messages for every 1 minute. None
of these have helped me. If you get an answer then please
inform me if you could. I will do the same.
(e-mail address removed). thanks.
