I've looked all over the Internet and only found 2-3 ways
to "do" this that don't work.

I need to set up two separate e-mail accounts using
Outlook/Office 2000. I have one, say (e-mail address removed), that
is already set up and receives e-mail from my host just
fine. I need a second one, say (e-mail address removed), to pick up e-
mail from a separate internet site.

I tried setting up another account inside Outlook. But I
have to designate one as a default, so it only checks one,
not two. For whatever reason, even if I designate the
second as default it still only checks the first. And
I've never been able to get it to check the second.

I tried using newprof.exe, but I click on it and nothing
happens.

I tried downloading and using modprof.exe, but it tells me
it can't do anything (error msg) because Outlook isn't
designated as my default mail client.

And I don't even know how to designate it.

Help! Please!

Do you have Outlook 2000 configured in Internet Mail Only mode or in
Corporate/Workgroup mode? If you're not sure, check the second line of Help
| About Microsoft Outlook.

.

Outook 2000 doesn't support multiple profiles, so you'd have to set up all
your mail accounts within the same profile...but even though only one
account can be the default (and only one .PST file can be the default
storage file and new mail delivery point), you should still be able to CHECK
multiple accounts for new mail. Are both of these accounts POP3/SMTP
accounts?
