I recently bought a new Dell 5150. I have tried to burn an ISO image
with it twice and it did not work, I kept getting an error when trying
to boot. Then I tried it on my thinkpad and it worked flawlessly. Any
ideas?

Thanks,
Adam

Dell doesn't have the correct burning software. The ThinkPad does. Use Roxio
Easy Media Creator or Nero to do the job.

It would help if you included what software used to burn the ISO in each
case.

If I create an image of a directory and all subdirectories who do I install
the ISO image if needed?

How are you creating this "image"?
