New Computer, New to Vista Mail, New to Outlook 2007 - HELP

As my subject eludes, I am trying to decide whether to use the Vista Windows
Mail or Outlook 2007. I am well versed on Outlook Express - used it for
years - now, which of the new features will be most comfortable. Opinions
please.

Vista mail has a lot of similarities to OE, but misses some things llike
multiple identities or mailboxes. If you need those, you might consider
Live Mail instead.

Outlook itself is quite different and whether you need its features - and
size - or not is up to you.

I personally like Windows Vista Mail, excpet for one thing. The only thing
that I don't like about it is the fact that the Contact list is no longer
available to be on the side as it was in Outlook Express. It made things so
much easier as it took fewer steps and it made much easier to send an email
(or even remember to send and email to someone.)

I have always found Outlook to be a wasted overblow of what should be very
simple, which I found Outlook express to be. If you need a bunch of Bells &
Whistles that you will use, go with Outlook. If you are like most people and
really don't need all of the other stuff, use Mail.

Outlook can be as simple or as complex as the user so desires. If MS Office
is installed, I would always suggest that Outlook be used as the default
e-mail client..
