(As well as why you ask and what proof you have of purchasing it
originally.)

equipment/CDs.)

CD..
It's the CD Key that matters the most. Keep that safe. If you lost that
too - get it from your machine using Belarc Advisor (you should use that
anyway - it will help you reinstall later) or Magic Jelly Bean Key Finder.
