Well since I have apparently used up all my support requests, I must pose the
question in here, where it doesn't belong.
My win xp pro cd will install. I have cleaned it twioce and there are no
obvious marks or scratches or cracks which might have accounted for this. so
here I sit without a computer for who knows how long.
Where can I get another copy, of my licensed version of XP pro? and can it
be downloaded as this is now urgent??

You may want to test by burning a backup of all your CD's
I DL'ed Office and XP and also ordered the 6 month trial disks for $5

still no go, too many files couldn't be copied onto new drive.
Is there a way to "ghost windows only" to a new drive from the boot drive?
this is my licensed copy of windows and it is still on the original drive.
