New blank document file size is 19.5KB?

When I open a new blank document in Word 2003, the file size is 19.5KB before
I've even pressed a key. This has only occurred in the past couple of
months. What have I done?
 
And what was the file size up until a couple of months ago? 19.5K sounds
about right for a new empty document and I doubt you've done anything wrong.
 
19.5 KB is the size of an empty Word 2003 document.
