New Appointment

Outlook will not allow me to make a "new'" appointment. Why? This has never
happened before. If I type one in on a selected day, it will not save it?

Define "will not allow". Exactly what happens when you try? How are you
trying? What version of Outlook? Are you using an Exchange mailbox or a PST?
 
I click on the "new" appointment button and it will not bring up the screen
to put in the appointment. I also trying going to the specific day and
putting the appointment in that day, and it does not allow me to save it.
This is only happening in one of my calenders. There are two other
calenders, which i have never used, but those both allow me to make an
appointment.

It is 2003.

I do not know what you mean by exchange mailbox or PST....
