That is available on 'msnews.microsoft.com'? I stand by my statement: There
will never be a "Microsoft NNTP Windows 7 group", because Microsoft has
killed their NNTP service.

There will be if someone wanted to start one up.
Don't need Microsoft to start, or continue a NG, with Microsoft in the
title.
Many microsoft.public NGs still exist on Usenet and are being used (this
NG is but just one example)

There is no NNTP available at all on 'msnews.microsoft.com'

But if you like to have microsoft.public.windows7.general [Newsgroups]
Just ask your News Server to make the Group and they will, but the ideal to
keep it is members!

For Microsoft can not
killed or stop a NNTP service from setting up a NewsGroup.

you at bigpond.net.au it one of the Big 8's NNTP News Server it would by a
good one to get it on!
