never updated to SP1

What will happen if I never update to SP1?
I never have access long enough to 28Kbps dial up so unless I win the lottery and get cable I probably can never get it downloaded

Your machine will become increasingly vulnerable to new exploits. Without
the service pack, you will not be able to install newer critical updates to
protect your system against newly discovered vulnerabilities.

Use the link Carey provided, or wait until SP2 comes out next year and do it
then.

If you know someone with a broad-band service, get them to download the
network install version for you. You can then install it to your
machine.With my service, it only takes 6 minutes.
