I just reformatted and when I was installing XP Pro there were two files that
didn't copy, and I just skipped it. One of the files was at the very
beginning(when installing was at 0%) and now Im trying to network my two XP
pro computers together and I can't. I already tried setting up a network and
everything and is wondering if one of the files may or may not have affected
me from connecting to the network. i get the error message "Unable to browse
the network. The network is not present or not started"

Could be.

However your question is too broad. Do you know the name of the files. Why
not install the system with everything in place?
