I do side work as Net Admin at a small school. They have about forty five
98SE PCs , three XP Home PCs and a Win2000 server. The XP PCs will not 'see'
the server nor will it view any of the 98PCs files. It says that I don't have
'Adminstrative Rights'. The 98 PCs do fine in conjunction with the server
otherwise.
I have 2 XP PCs and 3 98SE PCs at home and they all share files just fine.
Whats going on?

I suspect that you have your home LAN configured as a workgroup and your
school LAN as a domain. XP HE PCs cannot join a domain, but they can join
a workgroup. If so, one solution is to upgrade the school's XP PCs from
XP HE to XP PRO.
