networking xp home and professional

i have 4 PCs - 3 Xp home and 1 Xp Pro. i want to connect them via ethernet
in order to share files and folders. i create a workgroup but dont seem to
be able to see across the machines.

any advice is welcome

You could start by reading my troubleshooting guide, and checking all of the
mentioned settings.

Or you could post "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from all 4 computers,
and please label each computer so we know which one is running XP Pro (and is
the XP Pro computer running Simple File Sharing).
