I have my desktop running Pro and the other computers using home. The home
computers can see each other but cannot access the Pro computer. When I try
to access the usergroup I get the error that I do not have access privileges
and I cannot see the usergroup. I did get it to work for a short time and
then it quit on its own. I am using simple file sharing on the Pro computer

This sounds like a misconfigured or overlooked personal firewall, or other
security component. There are several other possibilities too, and any might be
the cause of your problem. Read this article with an open mind.

Look at "browstat status", "ipconfig /all", "net config server", and "net config
workstation", from each computer, and diagnose the problem. Read this article,
and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely (download browstat!):
