Trying to network two computers together in the same house. Both on Linksys
router sharing same internet connection and all is well in that department,
but I cannot seem to share the printer or send/recieve files thru shared
folder. Do both computers have to run XP to network properly? I run XP Home
and wife is on ME...can anyone help?

Hi,

No, the operating system on each is of no consequence. What is of
consequence is that they use the same workgroup name and both have the "file
and printer sharing for microsoft networks" installed in the properties of
the lan connection.
