Any experts out there can help me

I'm thinking of accessing files from my other PC (from anothe
domain to another domain) over the internet. Is it possible since I'
using dial-up? What do I need? IPs? Hostname? :?

It is possible. It depends on how the other domain accept the outside
connection. You can use VPN or RAS Dial.

I think your best bet is a piece of software like pcAnywhere:
http://www.symantec.com/pcanywhere/.

There are other programs that do the same thing.
