I recently set up a wireless pc in my home which connects to a host wired
into my router. ( I also have a broadband modem attached to the router).
On the remote desktop, (XP on both) I had tried to remove IE a while ago
since it was my kids PC. When you go into add/remove programs and look to
the left under window components, Explorer has a checkmark but has 0 megs of
space(probably because I had tried to remove).
However, I am able to go to a control panel address window and type in
www.yahoo.com and it opens to the page.
My question is this.... How can it open to a web site if there is nothing in
the IE file. Is it picking up IE off the host PC that is hooked to the
broadband?
thanks, Ken
