I have ADSL modem connects to whatever device it is
connected to by a USB cable. It doesn't have an RJ45
port. Therefore I can't connect it directly to the
router, which has an RJ45 port.

I want to be able to connect my broadband modem to a
wireless linksys g router and connect it without using
ICS. How do I accomplish this task?

Sorry m8y,
1) If you already have the wireless router, replace your modem with a rj45
modem.
2) buy a new wireless DSL modem/router and replace your current modem
3) if you're modem comes as part of your ISP package try to find a usb
wireless router without the modem.
