I have 6 computers that do not access the internet. We are trying to network
the 6 computers to the 1 printer. It is a classroom. Trying to find the
easiest way to network them into the printer. The computers will not access
the internet.

Then assign these computers without default gateway.

If they are all running Win XP, and they are all networked together, it's
easy.

Make sure the computers have unique names and are assigned to the same
Workgroup (e.g., Classroom). Enable File and Printer Sharing.

Connect the printer to one of the computers (preferably one that is
reasonably fast and has a reasonable amount of RAM) and install it.

Once the printer is working on the one computer, go to the Add Printers
dialogue on each of the other computers and use the "Network Printer or
Printer attached to another computer" dialogue. It should be able to find
the printer on the other computer, and install it.
