I am not sure if this is the right place to post, but here goes. I have two
computers, as you see above, a Dell Desktop Inspiration L1000 Model and a
Gateway notebook.
The Dell Desktop had Windows 2000, and been upgraded to XP Pro. The notebook
has Win Home on it.
Both are accessing the internet, however, one computer which is the DELL can
see the notebook computer just fine. However, the notebook can not see the
desktop completely.
It's see's that it is present, but can not access the shared files. It
stops. Both computer's hard drives are set to SHARED and rights as full.
Why isn't it that the DELL can see the notebook? But not the other way around?
Can someone help me?
