Networking an XP machine with a 98SE machine

I have a wireless network started with XP machine (router
attached) with a 98SE machine (pc adapter attached). I am
able to share the internet connection, but cannot look at
each other's files.

I tried to rename the workgroup on the 98SE machine to
what the name is on the XP machine, but when I reboot the
98SE machine I get an error message that it cannot find
the workgroup.

If someone can walk me through changing the workgroup
names on both machines so they can work together, I would
appreciate it.

Tony,

most likely your problem is not the workgroup name. Please have
a look at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxNetwork.htm.
