Networking is very new to me, however i need to connect a laptop running
windows xp home edition to my dell laptop running xp pro so i can use the
other laptops hard drive to dump some files on so i can format one one of the
laptops hard drive. How am i able to do this. Both laptops have d-link
wireless cards or would i use the ethernet cable to connect them. What so i
need to do so i can access the hard drive in order to copy files from one
computer to another?

Philip,

You can setup a network using either the wireless cards, or a cross-over
Ethernet cable.
