How do I make ie log on to the WAN - miniport pppoe network automatically?
As it is now, I have to log on to the network before I can log on to the
internet.

Since you apparently have DSL, whether you can log on automatically depends
on the DSL modem you have. Certain models - usually older ones - don't have
the software necessary to retain your username and password. Those modems
require you to click a "connection" icon before you get online. If you have
one of those modems, you can either replace it with a newer model (check
with your ISP) or buy a router. Again, check with your ISP for what modems
and/or routers will work with your services.

This isn't a Windows issue.
