I have [2] xpsp2 computers networked via a router/modem. all works ok.
wont to know, is there a way to [share shut down] so I can shut down one
computer from the other? One is upstares, one down. Sometimes late at
night I wont to stop work om both without going back downstares.

Thanks.

If both were using XP Professional, you could do Remote Desktop
and do a Shutdown, instead of logoff to end the RD Session. If XP
Home edition, can't really think of a way to initiate a shutdown on
demand. I suppose you could queue up a Scheduled Task to do a
shutdown at a specific time, if you finish work by a usual time.
