I have two computers, both XP pro linked through a router
to the internet. I'm trying to network them as one has a
printer. When I run the network wizard, I get an error
message of "spooler sys app" and the network is not set
up. Please help!

I get this message everytime I run the Network Setup
Wizard. Has nothing to do with a shared printer. The
message says: "Spooler Subsystem App has encountered a
problem and needs to close. Sorry...." Then the wizard
continues. However, my network is flakey and drops
computers many times throughout the week for no apparent
reason. Any ideas?

I am having the same/similar problem. My network between to XP Pro computers worked fine for two years. It just stopepd. When I tried to run the Network Wizard I got the Printer Spooler Error. I followed the instructions found at

http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=324757

The message baout the printer spooler went away. However, I still get the message that the Network Wizard can't continue, etc.....

All it says is that I can try again later or set up my network manually. What do I need to do from here?
