Grazie.

Here are a few tips:

- Are your PCs directly connected with a CAT5 cable?
If so, is it a cross-over cable?
- Are the network adapters running at the same speed?
10 MBits/s? 100 MBits/s? Automatic?
- Open a Command Prompt on your Win2000 PC
- Type this command:
ping 192.168.0.2
What do you see?
- Open an MS DOS Prompt on your Win98 PC.
- Type this command:
ping 192.168.0.1
What do you see?
- Ensure that the workgroup name is the same on both
PCs. Very often it is simply "Workgroup".

Pegasus;

Bravo!
