Network Slowdowns.

What would cause a slowndown in resolving/displaying of
usernames that have permissions of files? When I look
under the Security tab on a file or directory of an object
on a network share, it takes forever to resolve the SID to
an actual domain account.

Any ideas what would be causing this???

This can be caused by an older Service Pack on the system or DNS not
properly configured.
