I have XP-Pro on two computers Networked together through a switch, and I am
trying to work out how to network them for Printer and File Sharing.
when I right click on a folder, like My Documents, and then click on Sharing
and Security-the resulting box is not the same in both computers on #1 I see
General, Size, Sharing and Security. On machine #2 I see only General and
Sharing and that latter has fewer choices. How do I make that machine give
me the full network security window?

Hi Michael,

Folder Options/View tab, you need to disable "simple file sharing" on the
machine with fewer options.

(AFAIK) You don't get the security tab on FAT disks.....

Very true. If the system is using FAT32, then it would have to be converted
to NTFS first.
