network setup

I am trying to setup User levels for my kids. But win xp
pro is asking for a "group" to set the levels to. I have
know groups setup and would like to set up 3 groups of
users and sit diff. levels for each but do not know how
to make user groups.

Jason,

Maintaining groups and users is done from Computer Management (Control
Panel - Administrative Tools). Then System Tools - Local Users and
Groups. There you can setup users and groups, and make users members
of groups.

Assigning rights to groups and users is done from Local Security
Policy (Control Panel - Administrative Tools). Then Local Policies -
User Rights Assignment.

Is this just for XP Pro or can I do this on a XP Home PC

I believe this is just XP Pro. But I don't have an XP Home system in
front of me. :(

Find it in XP Pro, then see if it's in the same place in XP Home.
