All is fine. I find a problem and some conflict with WIN XP NET cnfiguration
and IBM Conection Manager!

Dzenis,
I'm very interested in what you did to get rid of this problem with ip
setting reverting to default. I've just reinstalled XP on my laptop (5th time
around) with the exact same hardware config as the last two times but now for
a reason unknown to me, I get the same problem you had. My lan settings
revert to default on restart, lost connection, connection repair, etc. I
normaly run it with static ip but now it never sticks between restarts.
Any insight to share? Or anyone else for that matter?

Thanks
Andreas

Nevermind, I think I figured it out. Linksys added an option to their wifi
card that didn't show up when I updated the software for it the last time.
Now that I loaded the new soft from scratch there's an option in it to set
ip, gateway, dns and such. These settings override windows settings and
therefore it seemed like windows just reverted back to default. I'm pretty
sure now it was caused by the linksys software.

Thanks anyway ;)
Andreas
