Ya well most of what DA said is true but you don't need to assign STATIC IP addresses to your LAN
computers, in fact I would suggest against it. Let the routers DHCP server assign IP's to the LAN
computers. If you assign IP's yourself you will also need to input the default gateway IP and the
DNS servers IP that your ISP uses. For a network novice this can get confusing. If you just set the
PC's to "Obtain IP automatically" it's a lot easier. Just my .02
