Network project management software required

Hi friends,

I just wanted to get some help on what project-management software in
the market is suitable for my needs.

Basically, our company is a network integration company that does small
network projects in our client sites. We want a software that will help
us manage our projects more effectively and efficiently.

The kind of tasks that we do in our projects is making network /
cabling diagrams, installing switches, patch panels, digging roads /
concrete for cable laying , checking RF feasibility and so on. So these
tasks have timelines associated with them. The software should be able
to track our tasks (pending/ completed etc), help us make reports
pending for the day, week, month and so on. Reminders on a recently due
task will be helpful. The software will be used on the network and
there will be atleast 10 users per project. Additionally, if there are
any automatically triggered mails sent on change of status of any task
with the remarks, that would be very helpful.

The software should have document sharing capabilities with all project
users. Basically document collaboration will be a preferred feature.

Hoping that i have given enough information on what i need.
The software should hopefully be reasonably priced and should atleast
offer a free demo version.

I'd recommend you check out what's available through a few sites:

www.opensourcecms.com (there may be something under groupware),
www.sourceforge.net (poke around w/the search function)
http://proj.chbs.dk/ (open source or free project management index)
