Network Problem

I have a linksys vpn router and xp pro setup so that branch offices may log
in to the host computer. My problem is this the business software was setup
originally for intra office now it needs to be setup for inter office thru
vpn. Software has no support but has network capability. Anyone have any
thoughts.

Does the software use a netbios name when searching for the server or an IP
address. If it uses an IP address it should be able to run over the VPN.

As an alternative you could set up a Terminal Services server and allow your
users to VPN to the network and run your app from the a Remote Desktop
session.
