I am trying to print to a local printer connected to a network NT PC using
the Net Use command.
I am using windows 2000 and connect to the printer using the following
syntax and it prints fine through the command prompt:
net use lpt1 \\ws82\epsonc900 /user:ecs_ntserver\administrator

The problem I have is, I cannot see the printer in the Printer control panel
view?
Should this be the case and if so how do I map it through 2000 pro itself?

thanks.

Although the network printer is mapped to LPT1, a local print queue was not
