I have 4 computers networked together and three printers.
I cannot see one of the printers from software print
command window. I am able to see the printer in Computers
Near Me but I can't send to it from within Word or Excel
or any other software. The other two show up fine. The
printer is hooked to an XP system. I am tring to access
from Windows 2K.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Did you get any luck wiht your printer issue? I'm experiencing something similar where I am trying to access a shared printer from a XP home edition desktop. My wireless notebook has w2k loaded. I can ping the wireless from the desktop, even map to the C drive and access files but I cannot ping or access the desktop from the notebook (and obviously cannot reach the shared printer). Your problem sounds similar to mine so I was hoping you may have some ideas...

Thanks
Ken

Make sure you have microsoft file and printer sharing on
w2k and disable any firewalls.
