Hello all,
Newbie here; not only here but using powerpoint as well. We have set
up a small LAN for training purposes. The LAN consists of a dedicated
server (Server 2003), one "instructor" client and eight "student"
clients. We make our presentations (90% powerpoint)to the students
using the instructor machine.
We used to use PC Anywhere, but the screen refreshes were slow,
sometimes exceedingly so. We are currently using Sametime, which is
faster, but not instantaneous. It is also somewhat cumbersome, at
least in these early days, for our instructors and students.
It seems to us near computer illiterates, that there must be some way
of staying within the network and make the response times immediate.
Can someone help us with what may be a very simple problem, or at
least point us somewhere where we can find help?
Thanks much,
Bob
