Every time I try to connect to a Network Place, it crashes Windows
Explorer. Any suggestions?
Since your post is so light on details, it's really impossible to give
you focused help. Here are some basic questions that need to be answered
first and a link to show you what details to include in your next post.
The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?
The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the
malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what
programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?
Be sure the computer is clean:

As a workaround, instead of using Network Places open any Explorer
window (My Computer for instance) and use Search>For Computers on the
network. Locate the network computer and make shortcuts to its shares
(right-click/drag/create shortcut).
