Network Logs

I heard that Windows keeps a log of network connections. Is that true?
Someone may have broken into one of my co-workers' computer. We know the
website that was visited and I want to see if there's any information that
Windows can provide about when the computer was being used/when the site was
visited.

I don't know what log you might be referring to, outside of the computer's
event logs. How do you think someone might have "broken in" ...via what
means, what symptoms, and if from the Internet, is your network protected
with a good firewall & is the system fully patched?
