Network Icons

I My Network places the Icons for network commections have disappered. The
folder is empty. How can I get them back?. TIA.
 
My Network Places or the "Network Connections" folder? If the latter, check
the following KBs:

Network connection icons are missing from the Network Connections folder in

Need to correct myself.
What I should have said is that my network places folder is empty. The
folders are gone. The folders for my desktop computer and for the laptop
computer disappeared or maybe somehow got deleted. No reference to them
appears in the Recycle bin, checked that first. How can I re-build them.
 
Can you check if the shortcuts are present in the following folder?

%userprofile%\netHood

If they're missing, you may have to create them again using the "Add a
network place" link.

computer disappeared or maybe somehow got deleted. No reference to them
appears in the Recycle bin, checked that first. How can I re-build them.

results to display". Not sure I will be able to create them as I had them
done for me.

Click Start, Run and type:

%userprofile%\nethood

The network places are stored in the above folder.
