Network Hangs on WinXp

The network connection to my WinXP machine continues to hang if I leave the
machine on overnight. I'm not sure what is going on but I have to reboot
before I can do anything with the network properties etc. I'm not running
any applications so why would this happen? Does this have anything to do
with the "Lease Obtained" and "Lease Expires" in the Network connection
properties? Those times are always one hour apart.

The WinXP is connected via it's usb port to an HPNA (phone wiring) to a
Motorola SBG1000.

THANKS!

I would check the power management settings.
