I tried installing an ISDN modem( based on the winbond chipset) on my XP
box , but at the of the end of the driver installation , I get a message
saying there was an error during the driver installation.I accept that ,
but now when I look in Device Manager I see a yellow icon (with the
question mark) on Network Device.I do know that the yellow icon is
because the driver was not installed properly. Now I want to remove the
"Network Device" from the hardware list , but clicking on it and
selecting "Uninstall" does not do anything at all.It still continues to
appear in my hardware list. How can i get this "Network Device"
uninstalled?I recently bought another modem and wanna install that , but
i need to clear the failed driver install for the older modem.Any ideas?

Rightclick and use Properties on that device, see the Driver tab button for
'update driver'
