Network credentials won't save?

When accessing a network share, I'm prompted for a username/password as I
would expect. However, if I select "Remember my password," I'm still
prompted the next time I access that share. Why is this not being stored
like I specified?

Do you have Vista setup to not require a password? I'm not even sure if it
allows this but I know on XP, if you didn't have a password, it would refuse
to save things like this.

Hit the Windows Key + R or bring up the run box any way you like. In there
type "control userpasswords2" but lose the quotes>enter>click continue on
the UAC prompt when screen darkens>add button and add your
password>apply>OK. You may have to add it on the advanced tab>managed
passwords button>add button as well.

That worked. Thanks.
