Network Connections Message

Every time i turn my computer on i get a small window appear with Network
Connections as a title, then it goes on to say, You or a program have
requested information from www.Etc Which connection do you wish to use>
I have not requested information at all and i cannot get rid of the message>

Start with a scan of the system for malware.
