We had a virus that infected several files on our windows
2000 server which have since been quarantined. However
there are three machines running XP pro which have since
not been able to network into the server. We have other
machines running wondows 2000 that are OK. the network
connections are enabled on all three xp machines. Also no
viruses show up on the xp machines. Any suggestions??

Do the XP computers have an IP address allocated by DHCP?
Can the XP computers ping each other by IP address?
What error message do the XP computers receive when they try to connect to
the server?
How are they trying to make a connection to the server?
If possible, open a command prompt on the XP computers and type "IPCONFIG
/ALL" and forward the output.
