I have a home network with three pc's. One xp home, one
98se, and one 98. The network runs a little slowly, and
the win98 computer can't see the other two computers on
the network. They can see the 98 computer and can access
it's files and printer?
The network settings for the 98 machine have it set up to
use:
Client for microsoft networks
TCP/IP
File and Print Sharing
The "client" protocol and file sharing are bound to the
TCP/IP, but when I try to access the network from that
pc, all I get is a "searching flashlight" icon;OR; I get
an "Entire Network" icon that give me the error message:
Unable to browse network.
Other than that, as I said, the network runs slowly for
the two computers it does work on.
Thanks for the help!!!
