Hi,

If I try to disable the network (LAN) or the firewire connection I get this
message:

It is not possible to disable the connection at this time. This connection
may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it
may have been initiated by another user or the system account.

Before there this was never a problem. Does anyone have a clue what this is
and how to change it?

Thanks!

Maya

Just a guess
something is running (program, service, etc.), and keeps the connection alive

Ahh, so you're saying: you CAN read?
"My car doesn't start" "Well, there's probably something wrong"
