Hi,

Using Windows 2003 Server, if I access a LAN machine with the same OS to
browse it's "C:\WINDOWS\assembly" path I get my machine list not the remote
one.

Regards,
Narcís

Narcís,

Are you sure that is the case? If the machine you are accessing has the
same OS, then there is no reason why the assembly directory (which is a
system directory) shouldn't be the same.

What are you trying to do?

Hi Nicholas,

Yes, I'm pretty sure that's the case as I have the other machine next to me
and browsing it's assembly directory gives me different results. The
directories should be different because I'm installing and uninstalling
software which registers it's assemblies on this list. One of this
assemblies is giving me a problem and that's why I'm doing all this testing.

Regards,
Narcís.
