network accessibility

when I make a pc 2 pc connection, it gives me that the
local area is enabled but when I try to access it gives
the following message:


\\(ComputerName) is not accessible. you might not have
permission to use this network resource. contact the
administrator of this server to find out if you have
access permissions.

Do you mean as in mapping a drive to it? Did you get the command
correct? \\server name\share name
